Dark DnB

Not bad man, nice fresh approach on the ever so stale DnB scene. Cool sounds and neat progression its almost like a Techno/DnB track haha. You got good elements. Beats are good. Though (and it might be my shitty headphones) you need more of DAS BASS!!!

SyntheticProsthetic responds:

I spent a long time trying to get the bass amount right on this. I realize I made it with bass 100% up on my subwoofer, so I had to re-EQ it with bass at 50% so it would actually be loud enough. It's probably your phones, because this track has sounded good on any setup with a decent subwoofer and also my Sennheiser headphones, which have great bass.

Dark and tribal

This is good man, im surprised it doesn't have a higher rank!!! Your production skillz are top knotch. I have nothing bad to say but make it longer Keep this up

SyntheticProsthetic responds:

Oh wow. Thanks. I've been worried about my mixes quite a bit, I've never been told how good they sound and I don't exactly have a top-notch monitor system or anything.

Trancedustrialtasic

So i just made up a word :P Ok You had alot of good things going on that lead synth really stood out to me. My only issue with this song was your high end...it was a tab bit high. If your familiar with EQing dropp off a bit of the high high end of it that should even things out. And when you said it sounded flat i didn't notice that. It sounded pretty good to me. Keep up the good work and remember lower your high end a tad :)

WarlordXMaster responds:

Comment noted and I will keep in mind for next piece. Thanks for the comment. =)

THAT....SYNTH!!!

My god that synth line thats suppose to be a guitar sounds like something Sonic Mayhem (Quake 2, Haze) would do. I love it The vocals were decent in the track but i still think more distortion would have improved them (I'm also a distortion nut) This is going somewhere, everlooked into doing music for video games?

midimachine responds:

I would LOVE to do music for video games. Ever since I started making music it's been something I've wanted to do (among other things).

Thanks for the kind words again :)

good ol Salvia!!

I've done a bit of that subststance and this track kinda represents the mood and feel. The glitch vocals are pretty cool, though if you want a really good glitch VST get dBlueglitch ;) And I agree with Prothetic on this one about Doupting Thomas its like a soundtrack. Awesome work

Oavatos responds:

hehe I've got dblueglitch in my VST's already. it's really nice. And hehe went to go check out Doubting Thomas. had no idea it was side project by skinny puppy members.

Not a bad start

The track has alot of potential as a trance song but this is not industrial. Its got the distorted hats but the rest is trance. Not saying this is a bad track just it could go further with a bit more focus into the middle of sections of the track and the general body. Keep it up

Reticence responds:

It's way too slow to be trance. 80 bpm.

Industrial twang

HAHA i dunno what to say. Its got a cool 8 bit vibe to it something from NES days. And your right the intro does take some getting used to. Its not a bad piece but im not sure i could get into this one. The percussion is well done and those deep hit sounds around the 4:30 mark add a nice touch.

svinepels responds:

Thanks! It's been a while since I made it.

this is what im talking about!!!:D

Awsome song man!!! I like the build up to the break beat. And the classical feel you add makes the songs. This is something from a video game or movie from the sounds of it

midimachine responds:

I was listening to stuff by my friend Sean (who gets paid for producing and composing his orchestral music, the lucky bastard!) and he does a lot of film score sort of stuff so I drew a bit of inspiration from there.

I wish I had some good orchestral soundfonts though. EastWest make amazing ones but its something like $1000 for the bigger packages. Right now what you're hearing is basically GM with some multi-band dynamic processors and very liberal EQ!

Many thanks for the kind words once again! Can't wait to hear your stuff once it makes its way up here :)

Something new thank god!

Good work there, you definatly got something going here, though i wouldn't call it industrial this is more ambiant fusion. I like the guitars though they need a bit of Eqing to bring them out a bit more in the mix. You high end is a little too high as well. With a little tweaking to your frequencies you could have a killer track there :)

mikrodizels responds:

Thanks man :)
Too bad i lost all my FL data when my old PC broke, so this song is not editable. :(

HUH?

This doesn't soumd much like industrial myfriend and your on the top of the industrial genre here??? Wtf. Well the production was good and the music was neat but this is not industrial
